Edutourism reserves the right to remove a student from the program if, in the determination of medical staff, a student's continued enrollment would create a significant risk to the health and safety of the student or others, or if the student refuses to cooperate with efforts deemed necessary by the Program Coordinator to evaluate the student’s conduct. Students are prohibited from engaging in conduct, in or out of the residence facility, which poses a threat to the health or safety of persons or property or interferes with the rights or well-being of others. In addition, students are prohibited from engaging in conduct that violates
- Program policies
- Any provision of the Code of Student Responsibilities
- Conditions of Use and Policy on Computing Ethics
- The Residence License Agreement
- Any rule/regulation of the institution
- Any other applicable law.
Tolerance of Others
A fundamental goal of Edutourism Programs is to foster a community environment based upon mutual respect and openness. Therefore, any form of discrimination, including but not limited to discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, gender, and/or sexual orientation, constitutes unacceptable behavior.Respecting the rights of other students presupposes that in the close and diverse society of campus life, student expression of opinion will be respectful of others and will be exercised in good taste and decency. Bigotry, hatred, and intolerance have no place in the Edutourism Programs. In displaying or distributing expressions of opinion, students are expected to show respect for the aesthetic, social, moral, and religious feelings of others upon whom their views may be imposed. Students are entitled to expect that those with whom they live will demonstrate tolerance for diversity and respect for privacy.
Drugs and Alcohol
No illicit drugs or alcohol are allowed in the dorm or on campus of the host institution, and they may not be consumed during the duration of the program. Students found in possession of, under the influence of, in the presence of, and/or suspected of consuming these prohibited items will be removed from the program immediately and may receive additional program and host Institution sanctions. There are no exceptions. If the program finds evidence that students were engaged in these prohibited activities during the program, the program and host Institution may also apply sanctions after the program has ended. Decisions on incidents involving illicit drugs and alcohol are at the discretion of the Programs coordinator.

Because our programs are short and intensive, students are encouraged to attend every class.
If a parent or guardian is in town and would like to spend time with a student or if the student would like to visit relatives or family friends within city limits, that visit must be scheduled during the student’s free time when there are no activities planned. The parent or guardian must submit an electronic leave request form that will be emailed two weeks before the program starts. This request must be received at least 48 hours before the student is planning to leave campus. The parent or guardian will need to provide details about the visit, such as the time that the student will be picked up and dropped off at campus and the cell phone number of the relative or family friend the student will be with. A student is authorized to leave only after our office sends the student's parent or guardian approval via email.
All international students enrolled in Edutourism Programs are required to have medical insurance. Since many U.S. doctors and hospitals do not recognize out-of-country coverage, it is strongly recommended that international students participate in a health insurance plan offered by the host Institution.
Information We Collect: Personal Data is any information about an individual from which that individual can be identified. Your name, address, phone number and bank account number are examples of personal data. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We collect Personal Data from you in various ways, including when you visit the Site(s), create an account with us, purchase, enroll in and use our Programs, use our Apps, answer surveys, participate in our social media communities, such as on Facebook, and when you send us feedback. When you log-on to our websites or to our App(s), we automatically receive information from your device, including your IP address and location. We and our service providers may use “cookies” to keep, and sometimes track, information about you, and to create a personalized web experience. Cookies are small data files that are stored on your device’s web browser.
If your parent, school, employer or other third party purchases Programs on your behalf, or if an agent refers you to Edutourism, such third parties may provide us with Personal Data about you, including your first name, last name and email address. We may also collect Personal Data about you from our business partners and other Edutourism owned companies.
Use of Your Personal Data: We may use your Personal Data in the following ways:
- For the purpose you provided personal data, for example to enroll you in one of our Programs or respond to a specific inquiry
- To customize and personalize your learning experience to you;
- To administer, support, improve and develop our business
- To send you information about Edutourism products or services
- To send you information about select third party's products or services that may be of interest to you
- To allow you access to the Site to post your content or communicate with others; and
- And as otherwise described to you at the point of collection
Disclosure of Your Personal Data: We do not share your Data with third parties for their marketing purposes, though we may share your Personal Data with other Edutourism companies. We may disclose your Data in response to legal process, to protect our rights, as otherwise required by law, or for the prevention or detection of a crime. We may share your Data with trusted third parties who are delivering services to Edutourism, including those who help deliver our Programs, help us process transactions, such as charging your credit card when you make purchases and otherwise help us operate our business. These third parties are not authorized by us to use your Data except in connection with providing services to us. Edutourism may disclose anonymous data to third parties. We may also share your information with third parties that you have specifically designated as authorized to receive information from us.
If payment for your Program was made by a third party, Edutourism may provide that third party with access to your Personal Data and other data. If Edutourism provides You access to a Program in your capacity as a student of a school that has contracted with Edutourism, Edutourism may share your activity, performance and other data with your school, even if you paid for the Program in whole or in part yourself. If you purchased Edutourism's Admissions screening for application to a specific Health program, your name and scores will be sent to that health school
If we sell our company or part of it, or our business enters into a joint venture with another business entity, we may disclose your Data to our new business partners or owners who may then provide you with information about their products and services.
Your Ability to Choose: If you do not wish to continue receiving emails from us, you may unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link in our emails and following directions. Transfer of Data Outside of Your Home Country:: Your Personal Data will be held in the United States. Your Personal Data may also be stored, processed and accessed in other countries where Edutourism has facilities or where you are located. You consent to the transfer of your Personal Data outside your country, including to the United States.
Security and Information Retention: We employ security measures to protect your information both online and offline from access by unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, and damage. The Personal Data we obtain from students allows Edutourism to deliver smarter, more efficient and more effective instruction.
